Guinea Pig Names!
So, I’m going to be adopting a baby guinea pig. He was born about a week ago in foster care, and I decided to adopt him. This is a picture of him and his sister:

(he’s the one in the teacup!)
Anyway, as most of the followers of my guinea pig blog, and this one, are aware, all of my guinea pigs are named after antidepressants (because they make me happy!). But I can’t seem to choose which name to give him.
Here’s the ideas I have so far:
- Viibryd
- Prozac
- Tofranil
- Remeron
For reference, my current piggies are named Zoloft, Paxil, and Prince Valium.
Which one on this list do you think I should go with? Can you think of any that I should maybe use instead?
The Fuzzy Antidepressant’s Live-Cam will continue all week long! The cam will be going dark for a little while, as we need our beauty sleep, but it’ll be back up come morning.

So we’re officially live! Check out the Antidepressant Guinea Pigs doing what they do best — basically nothing! ;p
Reblogging my own little “group” blog just because I can. Come see my little piggies! Though right now they’re napping… at least they’re still level headed despite being broadcasted world-wide.
» The Antidepressant Guinea Pigs: A Group Blog
Hello, and welcome to our group blog! We are Zoloft, Paxil & Prince Valium. We post what’s on our mind here. You’ll also see some posts from our owner, Christine.
We’re not actually on antidepressants, but we certainly try to keep our owner sane. Sometimes though, when we’re bored, we work in the opposite direction and drive her crazy.
Enjoy your stay, and feel free to add us! Oh, and don’t forget to bring carrots… lots and lots of carrots. Bye!
Promoting a new blog that I’ll be posting in with my little guinea pigs! I figured it was about time to get them their own place to speak their mind, since they really do have amazing personalities.
Wheeeeek!
Meet Paxil. He’s my new little snookums! He’s a year and 2 months old, and a teddy guinea pig. His owner had over 35 guinea pigs (as well as chinchillas, rabbits, and cats), and needed to give some of her babies away (understandably).
He’s been a little nervous since moving in, but he’s getting a little more used to his new living situation. He’s really been getting along great with my other two boys, Prince Valium and Zoloft, too.
Mother’s Wrath
So I woke up, couldn’t go back to sleep, and decided to watch my guinea pigs play around. Suddenly I notice a big spider slowly spindle himself down from my ceiling into their cage, get startled by the movement of my pigs, then spindle himself back upwards again.
Now, I’ve become accustomed to spiders in my room. I live in the basement level so I really habe no other choice. But the spiders and I made an agreement that as long as they leave me alone, I leave them alone.
But this one didn’t care apparently. Worse, he got close to my piggies. So, my defensive mode kicks in, I climb my desk chair, and I (awkwardly) kill the mofo. Then, I shout, “LET THAT BE A WARNING. STAY AWAY FROM MY BABIES”.
I think they got the message.
