Move Over Jon Stewart: Fox News Declares War on SpongeBob SquarePants

Fox News repeatedly criticized a SpongeBob SquarePants book and video about manmade global warming because “they did not tell kids that that is actually a disputed fact.” In reality, it is not controversial among the mainstream scientific community that humans are changing the climate.

Gretchen Carlson said, “Well we all know that SpongeBob is popular with kids and for the life of me I still keep trying to figure out why. My kids watch limited TV, but every time they choose that show, I’m like why. Anyway, it’s hard to even follow sometimes. Maybe that will be a good thing because SpongeBob is talking a lot about global warming and he is only looking at from one point of view.”

This… this is a joke… right? Right guys?

Lego Spongebob: Don’t Be A Jerk - It’s Christmas

This was the follow up to the winner of the 2008 “Built By Me” Lego competition part of Nicktoons Network Animation Festival. Nickelodeon gave me the song to use. A real hoot to create, hope you all like it! This is my original, Nick changed their logo without telling me and had to chop it out for the final release to TV. My Favorite Holiday Flick

So, ok, it’s not really a “movie”, but I have a very good reason for listing it as my favorite flick!

You see, my favorite movie used to be “A Christmas Story”. But then TBS decided to run that movie into the ground every Christmas Eve by looping it non-stop. It’s not a bad movie to leave on if you just like background noise now, but it’s just lost it’s magic for me. I still wrap presents to it, but if I really want to watch something to get me into the Christmas spirit, I watch the Spongebob Christmas special.
